Pregame Notes Ahead of Suns Vs. Celtics

Rob Gray- USA TODAY Sports

It’s a battle between the two top conference teams as the Suns are taking on the Celtics in tonight’s marquee matchup. A lot of key notes ahead of tonight’s game to look forward to. Here are the key takeaways I got from pregame ahead of tonight’s game against the Celtics.

Chris Paul is Back:

Monty Williams ahead of tonight’s game says that Chris Paul is available for tonight’s game but will be on a minute restriction. He worked a lot on mobility ahead of tonight’s game trying to get his body ready for live action since he hasn’t been on the floor in a while. Paul looks like game shape and rust needs to be kicked off so I definitely see the Suns easing him slowly back in but this is tremendous news for the team.

Torrey Craig Looks Healthy:

Another player that is expected to play that looked good in warmups is Torrey Craig who was dealing with a right groin injury. Craig has missed the last couple of games as he injured himself in the Bulls game and continued to play through it in the Rockets game. Now with time to heal, he’s back with no setbacks according to Monty Williams.

This is huge news for a Suns team that has been thin for the last few games with depth.

Cam Johnson Is Getting Shots Up:

Still no Cam Johnson for the Suns as he’s healing from a right meniscus tear but he was seen during warmups at shoot around getting shots up. The mobility isn’t quite there but it’s a promising look for the Suns as he seems to be ahead of schedule.

Tip-off is in 15 Minutes between the Suns and Celtics.
