1st Quarter:

The Golden State Warriors got a lot of quality looks from three as Stephen Curry couldn’t be stopped as a whole. Curry scored 17 first-quarter points on 6-7 shooting and 2-2 from three-point range as he’s continuing a phenomenal season scoring the basketball.

The Suns outgained the Warriors in second-chance points 8-0 and the key stat that occurred was the Suns’ ability to get to the free-throw line. Devin Booker scored 11 points while shooting 7 free throws to bring them to 9 in the quarter. Going into the game, the Warriors are dead last in fouls given up in the NBA.

3 of the 5 starters had at least 1 3 pointers for the Suns as they’re 5-13 as a whole in the game.

2nd Quarter:

The Warriors have been giving up a lot of looks from three-point range and for the most part, have been capitalizing on them. The Suns were 5-6 from the three-point line in the second quarter and ended a solid quarter with Cameron Payne dropping two threes and Bridges dropping three threes.

Stephen Curry continued his phenomenal first quarter with 14 second-quarter points to give him a total of 31 points for the game. He’s shooting an efficient 10-13 from the field and 4-5 from three.

The Suns continued to get to the foul line by dropping 7 more free throw attempts to give them 16 in the game so far. Booker has a game-high 8 free throw attempts knocking down all 8 as that is more than the entire Suns team from last game against the Heat which was 4.

Second Half Tip-off is about to begin.
