Gallen went two 2-0, with no runs given up; he also struck out 13 batters in 14 innings pitched. His scoreless inning streak is now 41.1 innings. With his sixth consecutive scoreless start, Gallentied a major-league record with his sixth straight scoreless start. He tied Don Drysdale, Orel Hershiser, and Zack Grienke.
In the last six starts, Gallen is 5-0 with a 0.58 WHIP; in his scoreless inning streak, Gallen has truck 46 batters. So far this season, Gallen is 11-2 with a 2,42 ERA. He has pitched 152.2 innings and has struck 152 batters.
