Monday nights game against the Philadelphia Phillies was an old fashion shootout. The final score being 13-7. The Arizona Diamondbacks win 4 games in a row. The D-Backs do it in dramatic fashion being down 7-0 going into the bottom of the 4th inning before mounting a comeback.
Corbin Carroll’s debut was a beautiful one, recording 1 hit, 2 RBI’s and 2 runs himself. Stone Garrett also had a great night with 2 hits, 2 RBI’s and 2 runs including his 2nd home run of his big league career.
Carson Kelly and Ketel Marte chipped in with 2 hits each. Kelly recording 4 RBI’s as well as his 2 hits in the ball game.
Diamondbacks Youth Continues to Grow
The Diamondbacks continue to show up in different ways all season long. This team has different players show up every night at the plate. Young talent this year has been the story. With youth comes inconsistency, when these kids are on, they can play with anybody.
Tonight was a special night here in the desert. This game showed heart, and it showed hope.
Tonight being down 7-0 before putting up two back to back 6 run innings in the 4th and 5th inning to take a commanding lead. The Diamondbacks are keeping this win streak and this villain role alive.
Reyes Moronta pitches the 9th inning recording 1 strikeout. Final score Diamondbacks win 13-7.
