The new multi-purpose arena on Arizona State University campus where the Arizona Coyotes will play their next three seasons, officially as of now, has finally been given a name 50 days before Coyotes first game.
In honor of ASU donors Donald “Donze” and Barbara Mullett, it is appropriately named “Mullett Arena” and holds 5,000 seats.
The arena will be a fresh start for a Coyotes franchise desperate for new energy. After spending 18 years in Glendale, it will be amazing to see the ‘Yotes in Tempe, a few blocks from the light rail, making it easier for inner city fans to attend games on week nights.
