Leading early, going down by 10 and getting within four points in the first half, the game spiraled out of control for the Phoenix Suns in the second half as they were destroyed 117-90 by the Denver Nuggets.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Giving up 45 points in the third quarter and 15 turnovers overall, the Suns were dominated in practically every facet leading to their third straight loss. Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal scored 23 points each.
Following up a triple-double performance against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, playing in the second half of a back-to-back didn’t phase Nikola Jokic as he scored 32 points in the victory. Denver held Phoenix to under 40% shooting from both the field and from 3.
Upset with how the team is playing and lacking nearly enough effort, the Suns fans called out multiple players, owner Mat Ishbia and general manager James Jones for what is going on. There are even some who have gotten so fed up that they aren’t enjoying watching their favorite NBA team anymore.
Here are just some of the comments online by Suns fans venting their frustration after falling to .500 (14-14) for the first time this season:
I want Book to request a trade so they can blow it up. Because KD won’t request it. He just won’t sign the extension. Once Book requests, the dominoes will fall. #SunsUp

I don’t even enjoy watching the @Suns play anymore. They are a lottery team right now. The body language of the entire team is terrible. No dawgs looking to fight for the win. Just a bunch of soft spoken individuals, who all have a finesse style to them. #Sunsup @Suns

There is absolutely nothing exciting or fun anymore when watching the Suns play basketball. Turnover merchants. Walking up and down on D. They hate basketball apparently. #sunsup

I don’t expect anything in this life, but a Suns win would be great.#SunsUp

credit to ishbia for taking over and adding star power, but this current roster is extremely flawed and has minimal potential for any real growth.
they need to truly think about starting a proper rebuild this summer because this isn't sustainable to compete in the West

This may be the worst product and biggest disappointment the Suns franchise has ever put on the court. At least when we sucked in the past it made sense. Now we have highest and most restrictive payroll in the league ????

NBA veteran Patrick Beverley would prefer to play with Suns upon NBA return
