Announced on X/Twitter, South Oak Cliff (Texas) High School offensive tackle Cortavious Tisaby has pledged to the Sun Devils and his “recruitment 100% closed.”

Tisaby has helped South Oak Cliff be a perfect 7-0 in the 5A-2 district in Texas and 10-2 overall this year, according to MaxPreps. The Bears defeated Huntsville 38-7 on Saturday and advanced to the Regional Round of the 2024 UIL Texas Football State Championships.

Adding massive size to the future Sun Devils o-line, he stands at 6-foot-7 and 305 pounds. He is unranked in his junior season at South Oak Cliff by 247Sports.

Before making the decision to go to Arizona State in two seasons, Tisaby received offers from Texas State, UNLV, Pittsburgh, San Diego State, North Texas, SMU, Duke, Louisiana Tech, UTEP, Kansas, Oregon, Oklahoma and Arizona. He also attended school camps at Texas and Texas A&M but weren’t offered by either school.

By committing to the Sun Devils, Tisaby became the third recruit from Texas and the fourth in general to be heading to Tempe from the high school class of 2026. Fellow Texans in Del Valle High School (El Paso) quarterback Jake Fette and Dripping Springs High School (Drippings Springs) wide receiver Cooper Reid also previously committed as well and before Tisaby pledged, ASU secured the first local Arizona commitment of Liberty High School (Peoria) safety Zeth Thues on Nov. 11.
