Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The new deal comes with a signing bonus of $5.1 million, with $1.7 million in prorated signing bonuses added to each year on the cap. His entire $2.9 million salary for 2024 and $3.25 million of his $3.8 million salary for 2025 are guaranteed. Taking those into account, it’s safe to say that Collins is guaranteed to be in Arizona the next two seasons.
He’ll earn $255K in roster bonus, which will all count towards his 2024 cap number as likely to be earned incentives after starting all 17 games in 2023. In his three seasons in Arizona, he’s missed a total of one game.
These will be his cap numbers for each of the next three seasons from Over the Cap.
- 2024: $6.895 million
- 2025: $5.755 million
- 2026: $6.053 million
His $4.1 million salary for 2026 is not guaranteed, giving the Cardinals a potential out in two years with $4.353 million in cap savings should they cut or trade him. However, should he play well the next two years, it also marks another point to renegotiate another potential extension.
