GLENDALE – After back-to-back blowout losses to division rivals to fall to 3-7 on the year, team morale amongst the Arizona Cardinals fans are in the gutter. A franchise with playoff aspirations are preparing to have a top 10 pick in the 2026 draft. The play on the field has become secondary to the drama of the field with injuries to star players like quarterback Kyler Murray.

Arizona has constantly been in media headlines, and rarely for good reason. However, head coach Jonathan Gannon remains positive as ever. Gannon spoke with the media on Monday, and when asked about a message to the fans, he kept it short.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon walks off the field after their 41-22 loss to the San Francisco 49ers at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Nov. 16, 2025.

Gannon’s short message to Cardinals fans:

“Stick with us. We’ll get it turned around, we’ll get it turned around.”

The third-year Cardinals head coach had a smirk on his face when he made his proclamation. Whether the smirk is for confidence or lack there of, Gannon’s team has three straight games vs. playoff opponents. Arizona is 0-6 this season against teams with winning records, making Gannon’s claim a pipe dream.

Obviously, injuries haven’t helped and losing by a total of 13 points during a five-game losing streak is a sign of bad luck. However, the past two weeks haven’t been based on chance, the Cardinals were dominated because of their sloppy play. Gannon will be the first one to take responsibility, which is warranted after his team setting a franchise record 17 penalties on Sunday.

Gannon will likely be coaching for his job in the final seven weeks of the season, if its not lost already. His message on Monday could be a rally cry to turn around a broken franchise, or just another failed promise during a nightmare season.
