Full interaction of January incident:
In the incident report, the officer wrote that he was “concerned about the extreme risk of a catastrophic collision or the vehicle striking a pedestrian.” He continued that any collision at Brooks’ speed could’ve led to multiple “fatalities” or serious injuries.
This all happened in the early mornings of January 12th, following the Suns 112-93 win over the Washington Wizards. Brooks scored 16 points on five-of-14 shooting in the game.

Brooks will face two misdemeanors for reckless driving and exceeding the speed limit by >20MPH on a court date set in April. While the March 6th DUI incident is unclear whether he’ll be facing criminal charges for that, Brooks will at minimum appear in court for the January 12th affair.
