Phoenix (36-27) enters the matchup after a 118-116 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, led by Devin Booker’s 18-point third quarter and team-high 32 points. The victory kept the Suns firmly in the Western Conference playoff race as they try to climb out of the play-in range with fewer than 20 games remaining in the regular season.
The Suns have relied on home-court advantage this season, posting a 21-13 record in Phoenix, but have gone 5-5 over their last 10 games. Phoenix will once again lean heavily on Booker, who averages 24.8 points and 6.0 assists per game.
Forward Dillon Brooks (fractured hand), guard Jordan Goodwin (calf) and center Mark Williams (foot) remain sidelined.

Charlotte (32-32) arrives in the Valley after a 128-120 loss to the Miami Heat that snapped a six-game winning streak. Despite the loss, the Hornets have won five of their last six and own one of the league’s best records since Jan. 1 at 21-10.

The Hornets listed forward Tidjane Salaun as out with a left calf strain on Sunday’s injury report, while the rest of Charlotte’s regular rotation is expected to be available against Phoenix.
Led by LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller and rookie Kon Knueppel, the Hornets rank among the NBA’s top teams in 3-point production, setting up a matchup that could turn into a high-volume shooting night for both sides.
