GLENDALE – Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has a flock of teams interested in free agency, but one team seems to have emerged as his top destination. The teams interested in the two-time Pro Bowler are the New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams and Miami Dolphins. All have a strong case of offering the most money, starting roles, winning games and many more perks. NFL reporter Connor Hughes reports that only team can offer the 28-year-old all of those perks.

Kyler Murray likely heading to the Twin Citites:
The Vikings have a history of rehabbing NFL QBs. It started with Kirk Cousins in 2018, turning him into a four-time Pro Bowler and getting a four-year, $180 million contract from Atlanta Falcons. Immediately following came Sam Darnold, who at the point had a career record of 21-35 with 63 touchdowns and 56 interceptions. Darnold in his lone season in Minnesota went 14-3 throwing for 4,319 passing yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, earning his first Pro Bowl selection.

The Vikings let Darnold walk to the Seattle Seahawks to become a Super Bowl champion. The franchise is regretting that decision, leading to the firing of general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Despite the bitter taste of letting Darnold leave, the team still went 9-8 with questionable QB play from J.J. McCarthy and Carson Wentz.
Murray could have similar career resurgence as Cousins or Darnold and give head coach Kevin O’Connell a competent QB to run his offense.
