GLENDALE – No Marvin Harrison Jr.? No problem for the Arizona Cardinals, that possess a not so secret weapon in wide receiver Michal Wilson. Week 14 vs. the Los Angeles Rams will be the third game in the 2025 season that Wilson will take the mantle of WR1 with Harrison’s absence. The previous two matchups are well-documented, 25 catches for 303 receiving yards.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Wilson’s performance in those two weeks help break franchise record and NFL records for his quarterback Jacoby Brissett for most completions. However, Arizona couldn’t turn any of those performances into wins, which it aims to do against its NFC West rival.

Arizona Cardinals receiver Michael Wilson (14) catches a pass against the San Francisco 49ers at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Nov. 16, 2025.
Can Wilson handle Rams secondary:
In his career vs. Los Angeles, Wilson has nine catches for 115 receiving yards. Sunday has a real opportunity to surpass those stats in one game. The only caveat of his two game explosion is that he was facing the 23rd and 25th best passing defense in the NFL, while Week 14 will be against the 14th best.
Wilson will face off against cornerbacks like Emmanuel Frobes, who has a 63.8 overall PFF grade with three interceptions and a serious threat. The 6’1 defensive back will match Wilson in his size, and the only question is if Forbes can stay with the Cardinals wide receiver impressive route running.

The good news for Arizona is cornerback Darious Williams is doubtful for Sunday’s game, giving one less problem for Wilson to solve. The 25-year-old will have his toughest assignment as a WR1 and will have to handle NFL secondaries being prepared for him. Wilson is a known commodity and needs to use all of the skills in his toolbox to give his a team a chance in Week 14.
