Realistically, Arizona State will have to take care of business in its last two games of the season and come out with a victory if it wants to entertain the idea of heading back to AT&T Stadium in for the Big 12 Championship in back-to-back years. With two weeks left in the season, the two teams with the highest odds to make the Big 12 Championship are Texas Tech with 93% and a 7-1 record, and BYU with 80% and a 6-1 record. If ASU wins out, they will need either Texas Tech or BYU to lose at least one game to be in the running.

What the 2025 Territorial Cup will have in store:
Arizona State Head Coach Kenny Dillingham is taking it one step at a time and knows they have a real shot, though their biggest test in the next two games will come on Black Friday. Arizona State will gear up to take on its rival, the Arizona Wildcats, in a massive must-win. This very well could be the most important territorial cup for both teams in recent memory. Arizona also has a resurgence in Head Coach Brent Brennan’s second season for the Wildcats, as he has turned the program around and currently sits with a 7-3 record as well.

Can Arizona State and QB Jeff Sims keep it going in a possible must-win matchup at home? With the way Arizona QB Noah Fifita has been playing, Arizona State will have its hands full. This Territorial Cup has always been the most meaningful game on the schedule for both schools, although this season, it could mean everything more for Arizona State as they try to get back to the Big 12 Championship.
