Green’s arrival marks more than an upgrade to the Suns’ lineup. Pairing a player with the highlight ability and scoring talent of Green with star Devin Booker opens up a dual-threat backcourt. With one established scorer and another dynamic rising sharpshooter, the Suns are excited to get the offense running. The season-opening hamstring issue put that potential on hold, but now he’s ready to transform the unit. The vision has been teased, and now it’s about belief. The strain kept him sidelined, but his work ethic and talent show he’s wired for this.

Suns fans are excited for Jalen Green’s debut:
For Suns fans in Phoenix, this is about hope and finally seeing the new era begin. Phoenix is still Booker’s show, but it has pieces around him that are willing to fight and buy into the Suns’ culture. Green’s long-term health matters, given the nature of hamstring strains. How the Suns handle his return is just as important as the minutes he plays, given the nature of hamstring strains.

Green averaged 21.0 points while shooting 42.3% from the field during the 2024-2025 season, and if they can combine that with Booker averaging 31.0 points and 7.0 assists currently, and the Suns are in a position to greatly increase their offensive ceiling. The stage is set for Green to return at home in Phoenix, and his debut is surely ready to bring the noise, and the numbers.
