Dropping the first two games in any series can be a recipe for disaster, let alone in the WNBA Finals. Although the Phoenix Mercury have major help to fall back on, which is the atmosphere of their home crowd. “The X-Factor,” which refers to the loud and intense crowd that supports the Mercury, will surely bring the same vibes to Game 3 on Wednesday.

Mercury players have recently spoken about how much their fans bring an energy that is unmatched around the WNBA. Mercury star Satou Sabally has spoken about how much momentum the X-Factor brings with every home game.

Not only have the Mercury players felt the immense love all season, but other stars around the league recognize the advantage Phoenix has when it comes to having the home-court advantage. The craziness that the home court brings is enough to rattle anybody’s cage, and even Chicago Sky star Angel Reese recognized it.

The Mercury are getting ready for a must-win on Wednesday to avoid going down 3-0 in the first-ever best-of-seven WNBA Finals. Phoenix will have to be on point if they want to make sure they come away with the win, although they will definitely have a massive help on their side with the Mercury fans doing what they do best.
