Brooks, Green and more debut in Suns gear:

The team’s average age has fallen from above 28 years old to just around 25 years old, which is one of the youngest rosters in the NBA. Under the ownership of Mat Ishbia, the franchise has tried to make big trades for established talents and hire championship-winning coaches. However, the result has been unsuccessful, with the team missing the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

Ishbia has stated he wanted to build a roster like the city of Phoenix, describing it as gritty and hard-working. Bringing in younger talent, like Green, will help with that, as well as Brooks and his antics.

The team begins its preseason schedule against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 3rd, to begin its four exhibition games before the season starts later that month. Ishbia stated that he hopes to win more games than last year, but then clarified that the team won’t be measured for its wins or losses. He hopes the team can improve in making the Valley and the fans proud.
