WWE, or World Wrestling Entertainment, is an entertainment company known primarily for professional wrestling and its global reach. Wrestlers travel year-round, performing at non-televised house shows as well as weekly televised events.

Brown posted a screenshot from WWE Recruit with an opportunity for a tryout.

While she has no prior wrestling experience, Brown isn’t turning down the offer and is considering accepting the tryout.

Fans of both the WNBA and WWE have shown excitement about potentially seeing the 6’7 center in the ring and have already named who they want to see team up with her.

A transition from basketball to wrestling has been done before. The more well-known example is former Seattle Storm forward Anriel Howard, known as Lash Legend in WWE, who made her transition in 2020 after being waived by the team in 2019.

Brown has been playing in the WNBA since 2019 and recently joined the Mercury this year. However, with the team’s eight-player rotation implemented for the second half of the season, she has seen her minutes go down.

In 13.0 minutes for Phoenix, Brown is averaging 5.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.3 steals.

While Brown hasn’t publicly stated whether she will accept the tryout or not, it would be an enormous transition in her athletic journey.
