LAS VEGAS — Phoenix Rising defeated the Las Vegas Lights FC, 1-0, and have won three straight matches for the first time since 2023.

Phoenix came into Las Vegas looking to find a way to carry momentum over after going 10 days without a match. It was no problem for Noble Okello, giving Phoenix its first and only lead for the rest of the game with a goal in the 24th minute.
Las Vegas had its opportunities to score, with 20 shot attempts but only five were on target. Rising goalkeeper Patrick Rakovsky played the difference maker, with two saves in the last moments of the match. Rakovsky had five total saves and helped seal Phoenix’s win against the Lights.

Phoenix Rising comes home and will play in its second match in the USL Jägermeister Cup against New Mexico United on Saturday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m.
