The Snakes suffered a late-quarter collapse against the Tucson Sugar Skulls last Saturday, May 3. Arizona couldn’t get points in the last quarter, and its offense not working together. The Rattlers’ defense was given two vital penalties and Tucson took advantage to upset the reigning IFL Champions, 42-35.

The Bay Area Panthers come into Glendale with a similar record as the Rattlers, 4-1. The Panthers have four wins in a row, with its latest win against the San Diego Strike Force, 57-34, on May 4. Bay Area mirrors Arizona in offense, scoring over 50 points in each of its last four games.

The two teams last played each on May 18, 2024, with the Panthers securing the victory in Desert Diamond Arena 68-52. Almost a year removed from their last encounter, they now look to uneven the other’s record and gain ground in the standings.
