TUSCON — Tight end Keyan Burnett is heading back to Arizona, rejoining the Wildcats after a brief stint with Kansas, according to On3Sports.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Burnett originally transferred to Kansas this last winter but has now signed with Arizona, where he had spent a majority of his college career. The 6-foot-6, 248 pound tight end has totaled 24 catches for 261 yards in his collegiate career, having a high of 18 receptions for 217 yards just in the 2024 season while with the Wildcats.
Burnett’s return brings both experience and familiarity to a Wildcats offense looking to replace key playmakers and grow to more offensively strong. His size and catch radius gives Arizona a valuable red-zone target and a reliable option in the short passing game.
Burnett was a part of a strong recruiting class in 2022 that included quarterback Noah Fifita and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan. His decision to return comes as Arizona retools under new head coach Brent Brennan and prepares for the upcoming season in the powerful Big 12.
