PHOENIX — Former Arizona State offensive lineman Keona Peat has signed with the University of Arizona, according to On3Sports. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! At 6-foot-2, 265-pounds, Peat totaled 15 snaps over two games in the 2024-25 season. He brings size and developmental potential to the Wildcats, looking to possibly use him to replace Josh Baker at center.
Though transfers between the two rival schools are rare, they are not unheard of. This specific transfer adds another layer to another previous headline: Peat is the older brother of five-star forward Koa Peat, one of the top recruits out of the 2025 class who committed to Arizona last month. The family connection marks a notable double win for the Wildcats across two major sports.
Peat becomes the latest addition from the portal as Arizona continues to load up ahead of the 2025-26 season.
