With a month removed from their last encounter, where do they stand before their second encounter this season?
Arizona has been unstoppable, going undefeated with both its offense and defense providing the work necessary to achieve it. Last Saturday, Arizona took a win from the Northern Arizona Wranglers, 49-20. Stellar performances from quarterback Dalton Sneed, running back Shannon Brooks, and wide receiver Corey Reed Jr. helped push Arizona to the win.

Tucson Sugar Skulls defensive back Robert Sheffield (4) scoops a fumble to score a touchdown on a kick return against the Arizona Rattlers at Desert Diamond Arena on July 7, 2024, in Glendale.
Tucson has gone 1-3 for the season, losing to the San Diego Strike Force last Saturday, 45-22. The team could not get the offense going in the first half and were outscored 24-9. Although the team showed signs of fight in the third quarter, Tucson could not make any more points the rest of the game. Even with quarterback Jorge Renya passing for 113 yards and two touchdowns, three key interceptions had San Diego on top.
Arizona and Tucson have already met this season, with Arizona picking up a 56-28 win on opening night. Arizona will go for a second victory against Tucson, while Tucson looks to spoil Arizona’s perfect season.
