PHOENIX — After Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant was helped off the court with an ankle injury during the third quarter against the Houston Rockets on Sunday night, Suns fans took to social media to voice their worries and heartbreak.

Coach Mike Budenholzer announced that Durant needs an MRI and would not be traveling with the team for their next three-game set.

Many ask if this will be the last time we see Durant as a Sun, granted that ankle injuries may take weeks to heal.

Other fans are skeptical of Durant’s future and legacy, noting that he has not lived up to expectations.

Fans are also fed up with lackluster performances from everyone on the team.

The future isn’t clear for Durant or the Suns. Time is running out for the club to make one final postseason push, and the Phoenix fanbase seems wary of what could transpire in the next few games. The Suns will face the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics, the reigning World Champions. Their next game will be on April 1.
