PHOENIX – Hopefully the Arizona Diamondbacks have the fever for the flavor. Newest Diamondback Corbin Burnes mentioned, “This is something that you dream about. So we were fortunate that they were interested.”
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Well, “Engine, engine number ‘39’”, we are the lucky ones. But if our train goes off of the tracks, somebody has got to pick it up.
Enter Zac Gallen, who has been one of the faces of the franchise, and also a pitcher who has shown he can be one of the leagues elite pitchers. Torey Lovullo sure does have a lot on his hands, even though these are good questions to have.

Torey Lovullo on Opening Day Starter:
“I respect what they want to do, and I need to get that to them as soon as possible. But like I said, I want to be as thorough as possible.” If anybody knows Torey and his ways, it’s the Diamondbacks front office, and the fans.
It has to be one of the toughest decisions he has faced as a manager. Burnes, just received a six year, $210 million dollar contract. He was 15-9 with a 2.92 ERA in 32 starts for the Orioles in 2024. As a former Cy Young winner, he was the one of the hottest free agents on the market.
Gallen, Going 14-6 with a 3.65 ERA in 28 starts, is still one of the clubhouse leaders and ace. In a contract year for Gallen, he will be sure to try and replicate his dominating style, in order to cement his status as one of the top starters in the league.
Yet, he seems content with any scenario. That is something that’s only built, and not bought. You can get that scoop, later.
