PHOENIX — Multiple reports suggest that the Phoenix Suns could potentially reunite Kevin Durant with the Oklahoma City Thunder in a trade this offseason.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported that “everything points” to the 36-year-old All-Star being moved this summer amidst a disappointing season that sees Phoenix (30-36) 2.5 games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the 10th seed and final spot in the Western Conference play-in with 16 games left and the toughest remaining strength of schedule.
Group that with the Suns’ front office blindsiding Durant in the waning hours of February’s trade deadline by shopping him to teams like the Golden State Warriors, and the relationship between him and the franchise is likely fractured beyond repair.

What would a Suns-Thunder trade look like?
Bleacher Report put together a trade that would reunite Durant with his first of four franchises and give Phoenix a decent return as they would likely take steps to recover from the failed Devin Booker-Bradley Beal-Durant era.
Thunder receive:
- Kevin Durant
Suns receive:
- Isaiah Hartenstein
- Alex Caruso
- Aaron Wiggins
- Two 1st-round picks
- Two 2nd-round picks
Could Kevin Durant end up in Oklahoma City next season?
According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, KD’s playing his final season in Phoenix. And this summer, OKC could be the most logical outcome.

Oklahoma City has a plethora of first-round draft capital and could make a move like this whenever they’d like. Phoenix is in desperate need of recouping draft assets after offloading all of them in the trades for Beal and Durant. It all hinges on one thing, though; is Phoenix willing to cut their losses, admit defeat and start over with Devin Booker in the middle of his prime?
