PHOENIX – A Grayson Allen miracle game-tying 3-point shot with .9 seconds gifted the Phoenix Suns an opportunity to steal the win against the Utah Jazz without Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant. Without their top stars, the Suns’ relied on Devin Booker, like always, to save them, and that he did with his 47-point and 11-assist game.

The four-time All-Star snaps Phoenix’s three-game losing streak by recording his 35th career 40+ point game, more than doubling second place Amar’e Stoudamire in franchise history. Booker has already cemented himself as the Suns’ all-time leading scorer, but yesterday’s performance against the Jazz tied him with Michael Jordan for an All-time league history list.

Saturday’s game was Booker’s fifth game, in the regular season and postseason, recording 45+ points and 10+ assists, which ties him with Nikola Jokic and Jordan for fifth all-time. James Harden is the only shooting guard ahead of the 28-year-old with nine games with that stat line.

Being snubbed from the 2025 All-Star game has caused Booker to play more motivated than ever. Since January 7th, Booker has averaged 30.4 points and 6.7 assists on 63.2% true shooting in 17 games. Before the three-game losing streak, Phoenix was 9-3 in its last 12 games and looked to be righting the ship. If Booker continues to play at this historic pace, he can help the Suns get to their winning ways.
