The Phoenix Suns have revealed that star guard Bradley Beal will be available for tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Beal played through the injury in two of the last four games, including Phoenix’s last game, a 103-97 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday. He recorded 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in the win.

Suns coach Mike Budenholzer said before tonight’s game that they wanted to see how Beal did in his pregame warmup routine before determining his status.
When asked what changed between that night and today, this is what Budenholzer offered:
“It’s kind of like a nagging type of thing where I think we’re hopeful that he’s going to be okay. But I think, each day, how you wake up from contact, sometimes you take hits in games that you don’t feel until the next morning. I would just kind of put it in that category, and we’re hoping we get past that.
“We didn’t do anything yesterday, just the shootaround this morning. So, no contact, no anything for him, between the game and now. But it’s just kind of a nagging, irritating thing.”
Beal is averaging 17.3 points on 47.3% shooting in his four games played this season.

Paul George (left knee bone bruise) will make his 76ers debut tonight for Philadelphia (1-4). Coach Nick Nurse said George will be on short minutes spurts in his first game back.
Joel Embiid (left knee injury management) remains out, as he is still yet to play this season.
