However, you will have to scroll a bit further down to find the Arizona Diamondbacks, who failed to reach the postseason this season after going on a magical World Series run in 2023. Though the D-backs did increase their win total for the 4th straight year in 2024, finishing the season with 89 wins, their most since 2017 when they secured 93, the D-backs were surprisingly absent from the top 10 on ESPN Bet 2025 World Series odds. Instead, they were placed 13th, given +3000 odds to win their 2nd World Series title in franchise history this time next year.
Notable teams placed ahead of Arizona include the Texas Rangers, who endured a difficult season with 84 losses, along with the Mariners, Guardians, and Cubs.
The Diamondbacks have also been given +1600 odds to win the National League pennant, which ranks as 6th best.
