Suns nearly snap one of LeBron’s most historic records

The Phoenix Suns nearly did something on Monday night that hasn’t been accomplished in over 16 seasons… Holding LeBron James to single digits. James was sitting at 7 points with under 2 minutes to play in the 4th before he stepped into a 3 to preserve his streak. The last time the Lakers super star was held to single digits came in January of 2007 against the Bucks when he finished with 8 pts. This would’ve marked only the 9th time in his career that he was held to single digits. James has now scored in double digits in 1,226 consecutive games, over 300 more than the next longest streak in NBA history set by Michael Jordan at 866.
