One day before media day, the Phoenix Suns have unveiled their new slogan for the 2024-25 season.
After teasing an announcement yesterday with an Instagram live video that just showed the sun, the Suns released a formal video today in which they revealed the team’s new slogan and hashtag to use on social media: #SunsUp.
“Where there is shadow, there is light. Where there is light, there we will be. Stare at your own risk,” the video said at the end.

Last year, the Suns used the hashtag #ComingInHot for the regular season and #ItTakesEverything for the postseason. In the 2022-23 season, the hashtag was #WeAreTheValley and in 2021-22, it was #ValleyProud.
While the Suns were able to keep their top-six rotation players from last season heading into 2024-25, Phoenix will turn to a new starting point guard in free-agent addition Tyus Jones to complement their three stars in Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. The Suns also hired new coach Mike Budenholzer in May, firing Frank Vogel after just one season in the Valley.
At Monday’s media day, we will learn much more about this year’s team and how Phoenix plans to respond to last season’s 49-33 finish that ended with a sweep in the first round.
