PHOENIX — Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups went viral yesterday after telling a story of a player posting a highlight of his dunk at halftime down 18 points on the 7PM in Brooklyn Podcast with Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero.

“Man, you know I grinded his a– up. I get wind of it. I said, ‘Aye yo bro, get the f— back there and take that s— down off your joint. What the f— is wrong with you, man?’ (The player responded): ‘My bad coach. My bad.'”

The Internet was convinced this unnamed player was now-Phoenix Suns forward Nassir Little after looking back through stats and highlights of the game. Little played his first four seasons in Portland from 2019-23 before he was traded to Phoenix in the Deandre Ayton deal last September.

Little took to X today to clear up that it wasn’t him:
