Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant threw down a baseline reverse dunk in Team USA’s scrimmage Thursday ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Durant, Team USA’s all-time leading scorer, missed all five of the team’s exhibition games with a calf strain and his availability for the U.S.’s opening game against Serbia Sunday largely depended on how he looked in this scrimmage.
“The plan is for him to get in the scrimmage and see how he handles that,” Team USA coach Steve Kerr said Wednesday. “He looked good (Wednesday), and he did everything and got a lot of shots up and told me he’s feeling pretty good.”

Durant has been the U.S.’s leading scorer each of the last three Olympics, which have all resulted in gold medals. Even at age 35, the hope is that Durant can once again be a top scorer on this already-loaded Olympic team.
