The Broncos (24-5) have now won 20 of their last 22 games. They have had very little trouble with opponents this season and that continued to be the same story on Saturday.

O’Connor entered this matchup on a hot streak but proved to be overwhelmed by Brophy for the second time this season.

The Eagles (21-8) will now move into the 6A loser bracket and face a Liberty Lions team coming off back-to-back wins against Highland and Hamilton.

Liberty (20-9) defeated O’Connor twice this season and now have an opportunity to face Brophy in the Pool B final with a victory on Tuesday.

Brophy will have a rest before their next matchup and look to continue their dominance. The team was knocked out early in last year’s 6A bracket but now has a real chance to compete for a championship with this level of play.
