BREAKING: ASU quarterback Jaden Rashada to enter transfer portal
Badger has led the Sun Devils in every receiving category over the last two seasons. He has racked up 135 receptions, 1,653 total yards, and 11 touchdowns during that span. Badger has earned an All-Pac-12 honorable mention for each of those seasons.
The former four-star recruit will now explore other options ahead of his final season at the collegiate level.
Being ASU’s top receiving target and kick returner, this is a significant loss for Kenny Dillingham and the Sun Devils.
The team’s wide receiver room is now highlighted by redshirt sophomore Jordyn Tyson, senior Jake Smith, junior Troy Omeire, as well as seniors Melquan Stovall and Xavier Guillory.
ASU recently hired former Super Bowl MVP and longtime Steelers receiver Hines Ward as their new wide receivers coach.
Despite Badger’s departure, the acquisition of Ward and the team’s receiver depth should keep Sun Devil fans optimistic.
