By shooting 10-for-17 overall and going 4-for-7 from three, Durant totaled 26 points which is the 693rd NBA game he has scored 25-plus in his 16-year career.

As a result, he surpassed Los Angeles Lakers legend, the late Kobe Bryant, for No. 5 all-time in league history. Both Durant and Bryant had done so in 692 games each coming into tonight.

Leading the charge, Lakers star Lebron James is No. 1 with 932. As for the next player in front of Durant, NBA and Chicago Bulls great Michael Jordan is fourth as he reached the same feat 769 times.

For the rest of the Suns, Bradley Beal clinched 15 points in the defeat to Oklahoma City. Devin Booker added 14 and Grayson Allen had 13.

Phoenix had an inconsistent night overall, shooting 39-for-87 (44.8) from the field and 13-for-41 (31.7%) from deep. The Thunder forced the Suns to commit 14 turnovers.

In 74 games with Phoenix, Kevin Durant has averaged 27.4 points, 5.1 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game. KD spent nine seasons (2007-16) with the Thunder, including one year (2007-08) with the Seattle Supersonics before the franchise relocated to Oklahoma in 2008.

Next on the Suns’ schedule, they will clash with the New Orleans Pelicans on April 1 at 5 p.m. PT.
