Following the NCAA investigation of Arizona State causing his transfer, Daniels took off at LSU.
During the QBs senior season with the Tigers, he threw for 3812 yards, 40 touchdowns, and four interceptions in just 12 games played. The dual-threat QB also produced 1134 yards and 10 TDs on the ground. LSU finished with a 10-3 record, as well as a Bowl Game victory against Wisconsin.
He led the highest-scoring offense in College Football, averaging 45.5 points per game.

This dominant season earned Daniels 2024’s prestigious Heisman Trophy Award, beating out fellow finalists Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Penix, and Bo Nix.
Assuming Caleb Williams goes first, five of the last six Heisman winners have gone on to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.
After a doubtful draft stock entering his final college season, the 23-year-old has caught the eyes of NFL personnel and is projected as a top draft pick.
Reunion?
Daniels is projected anywhere from No. 2-13 overall. The consensus is that he will be a top-six draft pick at the very least. Former ASU defensive coordinator Antonio Pierce and his Las Vegas Raiders hold the 13th pick in this year’s draft.
There is an abundance of QB-needy teams this year. Las Vegas will need to trade up into the top 10 if they want to acquire the Heisman winner.
Daniel got asked about the potential reunion and was not against the idea.
"On draft day, if I hear my phone ring and it's [Antonio Pierce], I don't know what I would do."

The Raiders have significant quarterback questions and will need to find a clear starter ahead of their 2024 season. Despite the team’s inconsistent QB play, Pierce led them to a 5-4 record with him under the helm. Players doubled down on Pierce and the organization made him their full-time head coach going forward

Pierce and Daniels both departed from Arizona State amid the NCAA investigation. They may now have an opportunity to reunite in Las Vegas.
