When the puck drops between the ‘Yotes and Philadelphia Flyers tonight, Ružička “will make his debut with the team,” according to The Philadelphia Acquirer Flyers beat reporter Jackie Spiegel on X (formerly Twitter).

This evening’s tilt will also be the first time that he has played an NHL game since being claimed off of waivers by Arizona from the Calgary Flames on Jan. 25.

With Calgary this season, Ružička played 39 games while posting three goals and six assists for nine points.

In his four-year career to date, the 24-year-old was a Flame for 114 games, amassing 14 goals, 26 assists, 60 hits and 31 blocks.

Ružička began practicing with the Coyotes last Thursday after resolving visa issues to gain entry into the U.S. from Canada. He was a healthy scratch during the previous two games against the Vegas Golden Knights and Nashville Predators.

Inside Wells Fargo Center, the Coyotes take on the Flyers tonight at 5 p.m. MST.
