According to Daily Faceoff hockey insider, Frank Seravalli, Adam Ružička will be heading to the ‘Yotes after he was claimed off of waivers today.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Slovakian played four seasons and 114 games with the Calgary Flames before his departure. In total, Ružička posted 14 goals, 40 points , 60 hits and 31 blocks during his time with the team that drafted him in the fourth round (109th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.

This season, Ružička was a bottom-six forward for Calgary who suited up for 39 games, posting three goals, six assists and nine points.

With Travis Boyd and Barrett Hayton currently out of the lineup for the Coyotes, Ružička is yet another piece that can slot in and do a job when given a chance.

From multiple sources, Ružička will not make his Coyotes debut tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

On the road, the ‘Yotes face the Lightning at 5 p.m. MST inside Amalie Arena.
