Re-created by Barry Smith, owner of Legendary GT Continuation Cars, he donated a 1968 Shelby GT350 to raise money for the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at Northeast Texas Community College.

Hoping to reach six-digits, the Shelby was purchased for exactly $100k. The full sale price will go towards scholarships for current students enrolled at the NTCC program.

This classic automobile dawns a “Wimbledon” white exterior, black interior, 4-speed manual transmission and eight cylinders.

With the hammer being dropped on this Shelby, now half of the charity cars at this event have been sold.

On Jan. 25, a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ racked up $220k and every cent heads to The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation.

Then on Saturday, Jan. 27, the other two cars will cross the auction floor for organizations who help those in need.

A 2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon will draw interest based on the car itself, but also that all proceeds are for Building Homes for Heroes. They are a charity who builds or renovates mortgage-free homes for injured veterans and first responders.

But the main attraction was donated by Ford in a collaboration with JDRF, an organization that revolves around type 1 diabetes.

Tomorrow evening, Barrett-Jackson will sell the first 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse ever produced for JDRF.
