A little over a year ago, inside Footprint Center, Devin Booker erupted for 58 points to lead the Suns to a 118-114 win.

With a starting lineup consisting of Torrey Craig, Mikal Bridges, Bismack Biyombo, Chris Paul, and Devin Booker, the Suns trailed by as much as 24 at one point.

But, in the second half, led by Booker, Phoenix’s offense found its groove, accomplishing their largest comeback of the season.

Booker, falling just one point shy of contributing half of the Suns’ total points, played for 42 minutes, shooting an impressive 21-35 and making 6-12 from beyond the arc. Phoenix maintained a +11 advantage when he was on the court.

The third quarter saw Booker scoring 20 points, followed by another 16 in the fourth.

However, the outstanding performance came at a cost, as Booker experienced an injury that sidelined him for a considerable period. In the subsequent 15 games without Booker, Phoenix struggled, enduring a 3-12 stretch.

Which, in a way, led to them taking drastic measures, such as bringing Kevin Durant over to the Valley to play alongside Devin Booker.
