There were plenty of unusual things that occurred inside Footprint Center on Tuesday night during the Suns meeting with the Kings.

Trailing by a hefty 17 points at halftime, the atmosphere was a bit chilly, with boos echoing and the prospect of another blowout loss against an above .500 team looming.

Then, during a puppy race that occurred at halftime, one of the dogs decided that the PHX logo at half-court was the ideal spot for a bathroom break. Almost symbolizing the kind of night it was for Phoenix.

Even Ish Wainright, who played with the Suns for two seasons, was enjoying the show.

As we know now, perhaps fueled by some good luck from the four-legged friend, the Suns stormed back from a 22-point deficit in the 4th quarter.

This comeback includes a 32-8 run in the final 8 minutes, which was led by Kevin Durant and Grayson Allen.

Considering the unexpected boost from the puppy antics, maybe inviting the dog back for another race is not the worst idea.
