The Coyotes (8-2) are coming off a five-game win streak where they scored two goals in each game. The team has been striking on all cylinders after being shut out a combined 9-0 by Perry and Mesa earlier in the season.
They are coming off a season where they entered the 5A playoffs as the No. 4 seed but fell short to Kofa in the quarterfinals.
Campo Verde is currently ranked No. 14 in the state and will look to only climb higher as the playoffs approach.
Hawks Pick It Up
After starting the season 2-5 and losing four straight, Highland has gained some momentum, defeating Kearny and Red Mountain over their last two games.
The Hawks (4-5) had a great regular season last year finishing with an 11-4-1 record and entering the 6A playoffs. However, they were knocked out by Mesa in the very first round.
