All three of those losses came while playing in The Classic at Damien to California-based teams. Basha has yet to lose to an Arizona-based team this season.
They are currently ranked No. 10 in the state and have an opportunity to jump even higher on the rankings with a victory on Saturday.
Pumas Get Back On Track
After taking their worst loss of the season last week against California’s Harvard-Westlake Wolverines, who are ranked as the No. 3 team in California, Perry put together a convincing win.
The Pumas (11-4) defeated the 8-6 Gilbert Tigers 77-47 on Thursday, giving them the needed momentum heading into Saturday’s game.
