While Frank Vogel has not given much away in regard to Durant’s injury, he has mentioned that KD started feeling the tightness in the 4th quarter of Phoenix’s New Year’s Day game against the Trail Blazers.

Since then, Vogel has made it clear that it is up to the Suns medical staff as to when Durant will play again. On the bright side, during practice on Thursday, Vogel did confirm that Durant is “making progress.”

Also listed as questionable against the Heat is Eric Gordon, as he is dealing with right knee soreness. Gordon was declared a game-time decision for a similar injury a couple of nights ago, he ended up playing.

On Wednesday, with no Durant, Eric Gordon scored 16 points off the bench, including three made threes. Unfortunately, this was not enough, as the Suns’ allowed the Clippers to score 131, resulting in Phoenix’s four-game winning streak coming to a halt.

The tipoff for the Suns matchup against the Heat on Friday will be at 7 p.m. inside Footprint Center.
