Due to a handful of injuries, Beal has played in just five full games with the Suns. This has led to Phoenix’s big three of Beal, Booker, and Durant having only played one game on the court together with 1/3 of the season completed.
The big three made their debut against the Nets on December 13th. However, despite combining for 76 points, the Suns still suffered a loss. Then, the very next game, Beal departed in the 1st quarter with a right ankle sprain.
Overall, in his five full games with Phoenix, Beal has averaged 14.7 points per game on .449% shooting. Considering he has been on minute restrictions for almost half of his starts, the Suns have yet to really see him in full action.
Now upgraded to questionable, there is optimism that Beal can return to Phoenix’s starting lineup against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 PM.
