The Arizona Cardinals defensive unit has recently taken multiple hits on the injury front, but one player may return before the season ends.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!According to Cardinals senior writer Darren Urban, the team has designated DL Leki Fotu to return from Injured Reserve yesterday.
With the DL beat up, @AZCardinals may get help soon after opening the practice window for Leki Fotu, who has been on IR. Also promote Phil Hoskins from practice squad to roster:https://t.co/yVQ1a5UUEA

In doing so, Fotu will now have a three-week, 21-day practice window opened and he was a limited participant the past two days.
With just two games remaining on their schedule, the possibility of Fotu return will help the Cardinals depleted defensive line after Jonathan Ledbetter was ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.Â
Originally, Fotu has been on IR because of a hand injury, sidelining him for the past four games.
Beforehand, Fotu’s fourth year in Arizona saw him play in 10 games and starting all but one of them.
Fotu had 2.5 sacks and 25 tackles until his setback on Nov. 19 vs. the Houston Texans.
