Fiaseu is the most proven player Arizona State has added so far. In his first real action last season, Fiaseu was named Team MVP for the Aztecs as well as Defensive MVP. He was also named an All-MWC Honorable Mention. Fiaseu finished the season with 66 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five sacks, and three forced fumbles. The 6’0, 220-pound LB was a beast for SDSU last season, and it’s the first proven get for the Sun Devils this year.
Fiaseu was only a three-star player coming out of high school. He wasn’t even a top 200 LB in the class. He had only 9 D1 offers and had to sit his Freshman year. As a sophomore, he played in every game with very limited minutes but made his presence known. He then truly broke out as a Junior. Now, as a Senior, he can be a veteran piece on a very unproven defense.
Fiaseu joins Jordan Crook as the only two linebackers so far for Arizona State. Kenny Dillingham is now at 11 transfers so far, which is massive for him as he made it known he wanted to attack it. It’s looking very good so far for Arizona State.
