Diron Reynolds, the new defensive line coach for Arizona State, comes through again. He brings in this Redshirt Sophomore Big 10 Defensive End.

Deeter is the first transfer ASU has gotten so far that has not recorded a stat in college so far through two years. He did redshirt his first year, but he did not even get a tackle last year, so it was clear Deeter needed to go somewhere else to succeed. This brought him to Tempe.

Arizona State was the only Power 5 school that offered Deeter. However, Deeter received numerous offers from group of 5 schools, including Memphis, Tulsa, SMU, and Marshall.

Deeter was part of the class of 2022, where he was a three-star recruit out of Manvel, Texas. He only had four Power 5 offers coming out of high school, with Purdue being the only Big 10 school.

Deeter will hope to get a fresh start in Reynolds’s system and will be joining Justin Wodtly as the two defensive linemen so far this transfer portal.
