Before the game between the ‘Yotes and Philadelphia Flyers on Dec. 7, Durzi did not participate in warmups and was ultimately ruled out after being labeled a “game-time decision.”

This was because Washington Capitals right wing Tom Wilson’s hard hit on Durzi injured him on Dec. 4.

Durzi can be seen being able to skate following the blow, but was ruled out later on in the contest.

Now, Durzi makes a much-needed comeback to Arizona’s lineup as one of the more offensive-minded defenseman on the squad.

Additionally, it was evident that Durzi missing heavily impacted his team on the man-advantage.

Arizona went 0-for-3 on the power-play versus the Flyers, and were unable to construct many opportunities to score.

So far, Durzi has five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 24 games in his first season in the valley.

Furthermore, he has seven points (3 G, 4 A) on the power-play.
